This chunky smokey quartz tessin wand is semi translucent with some mirror inclusions within. There is a large key crossing two sides where another has detached, which makes a good  thumb fit. All faces on the termination are formed. There is a mass of lustrous black tourmaline in / on the lower half, and some clusters of mica schist. The base has self healed.  Some iron coating sits on the surface in places. A lovely raw and natural tactile quartz and very collectible.
