This unusual frosted elluvial smokey Quartz is from Namibia. The surface is pitted and etched, but internally the Quartz is clear with hidden depths. The frosted surface blocks the visibility into the Quartz, and the Quartz shimmers in the light. There are some pretty rainbow flashes.
