This stunning chunky smokey amethyst sceptre quartz from Madagascar has some very interesting features. There are three downward facing sunken trigonic record keepers on three separate faces. There are two 2cm+ deep finger size cavities where earlier growth of quartz stem has detached. There is a deep penetrating quartz stem at the base creating a sceptre formation. The quartz has double terminated skeletal formation with several interesting etchings on the surface. There is some melt on one face with some self healing. The tip has some minor mining damage, which is reflected in the price. Self standing on a slant, this is a very tactile and collectible specimen and ideal for spiritual practice and therapeutic purposes.
