This tactile smokey Quartz tessin wand is partly coated with a very fine layer of Quartz grain creating a grey surface, although the smokey brown is visible. The tip is heavily tourmalined, and there are fine tourmaline shards scattered all over the quartz. There are spots of mica schist near the base. There are a couple of iron spots present. There is some skeletal growth and pitting around the top half. The want tapers from a wide base to a fine point with only two small faces present. At the base sits a small parallel baby. A very nice collectible specimen with lots of character.
