This rich royal blue sodalite from Namibia has veins of white calcite running through. Polished on one side and raw and natural elsewhere, this sodalite is palm size and really tactile.
Sodalite is chloric sodium aluminium silicate, with a hardness of 5.5 - 6, and belongs to the feldspathoid group of minerals. It has a cubic lattice system and is a stone of insight and self awareness. Sometimes known as the logic stone. White calcite has similar healing qualities and is ideal for gently spiritual awakening.
