This exquisite Veracruz amethyst cluster exhibits an intriguing and complex formation of several points all conjoined. The four main points are double/multi terminated. The main larger point is a tantric twin and has all the other points attached to it in various places, two of the larger ones at the base, of which they cross through. The larger point at the base of the main point has multi terminations at each end, and a small bridge. There are some babies attached to the main point near the top. The soft purple hues fill the Quartz, and there is good clarity at the points, with cloud in the stem. There are two small patches of epidote on display, and some rainbow flashes. A very collectible specimen.

Veracruz Amethyst is from a mountainous area near Las Vegas, in Veracruz state, Mexico. It is considered to be one of the finest amethyst in the world. It is mined as a family business, using hand tools, and wheelbarrows. The side of the mountain has several openings going into short horizontal tunnels., where they collect the amethyst. All the Veracruz amethyst in my collection has come directly from the miner.
