This lustrous purple lepidolite from Zimbabwe gets its name ‘silver leafed’ due to the beautiful silvery lilac hues sitting amongst the purple shades. Polished on one side to show off the incredible lustre and colours, the other sides are raw and natural. A large tactile palm size piece. 
Lepidolite is a lithium bearing mica, with aluminium and potassium. The purple colour likely comes from traces of manganese.
