This quirky Veracruz amethyst abundance cluster features double terminations on all main points, unfortunately, one of the larger points has a severed termination. The top half of the points are infused with soft violet purple hues and have excellent clarity. The base ends that have self healed are cloudy, and have multi terminations. The underside of the cluster has several mini points around the centre. An interesting specimen and ideal for therapeutic healing practices.

Veracruz Amethyst is from a mountainous area near Las Vegas, in Veracruz state, Mexico. It is considered to be one of the finest amethyst in the world. It is mined as a family business, using hand tools, and wheelbarrows. The side of the mountain has several openings going into short horizontal tunnels., where they collect the amethyst. All the Veracruz amethyst in my collection has come directly from the miner.
