This pretty cobaltoan calcite on a matrix from the copper mines of Democratic Republic of Congo is uncommon and is coloured by traces of cobalt. The calcite is covered with druzy crystalline growth creating a sparkly effect. The druzy calcite can be seen on all sides of the matrix. The top side has a small geode like formation. The underside displays streaks of malachite. Very much a stone for the heart chakra and ideal for healing therapies.
