This stunning Veracruz amethyst parallel cluster with double terminations has oodles of character, with very soft subtle violet hues, and a bold rainbow flash. There are pretty gas inclusions within and excellent clarity at each end with cloud  in the central part. This would make a beautiful piece of jewellery. Very unique and collectible.

Veracruz Amethyst is from a mountainous area near Las Vigas, in Veracruz state, Mexico. It is considered to be one of the finest amethyst in the world. It is mined as a family business, using hand tools, and wheelbarrows. The side of the mountain has several openings going into short horizontal tunnels.
