This large chunky smokey quartz tessin wand is semi translucent with a lot of skeletal growth and pitting. There are small amounts of black tourmaline at the base and some mica schist. The wand is wide at the base and tapers to the termination where there are four full faces and pitting where the other two would be. There is a nick at the tip but this does not detract from the quartz and is not really noticeable. There is a rainbow flash in the Nick and more elsewhere. A rugged and tactile quartz which is gorgeous in the hand and very collectible.
