The grid is laid out in a 6 pointed Star of David, representing ‘as above, so below’. This layout will help to bring the Galactic ‘Light’ downwards and connect with the Earth energies to create a balance and harmony. As the sun is at its most potent point on the summer solstice and associated with abundance and fertility, Earth is about to move towards the shortening days, when nature starts to store this abundance to get through the winter. This grid is ideal for contemplating what has been, and manifesting for the coming weeks and months. The grid will also be cleansing.
The centre stone of the grid is a Galactic quartz twin cluster. The one twin has a bold right leaning timelink, and the other twin has 2 left leaning timelinks. The Quartz is mostly clear, with some inclusions within and some rainbow flashes. There are several geometric triangular etchings present on the surface of the Quartz and also other dots, glyphs and etchings. 
The 6 surrounding stones are limonite after pyrite. The cubic pyrite is protective of unwanted energies, and is all empowering in all aspects of life. The limonite, which is an oxide of iron, helps to increase intuition and the powers of the mind. 
The six clear quartz are directing and amplifying this ‘Light’ and potent protective and empowering energy outwards.
The energies of the Galactic quartz are very much about planetary healing, love, peace, ascension and unity of the whole. It brings ‘light’ from Spirit, downwards to connect to Earth energies. It feels an appropriate Quartz to enhance the light from the summer solstice.
This grid can be created in time for the summer solstice and left up as the wheel of the year turns slowly in to shorter days and longer nights.
