The grid is laid out in a square, representing the four cardinal points of north, east, south and west, with the addition of four more crystals to represent the four points in-between. 
Lammas / Lughnasadh is the midway point between summer solstice and autumn equinox. Traditionally, it marked the beginning of the grain harvest, and was celebrated with the baking of loaves. Our ancestors were able to reap what they had sown in the spring. It was, and still is, a time of abundance and nourishment.
Lammas is celebrated as a fire festival, but this crystal grid is created with Fire and Earth energies, as without the Earth, there would be no grain. And of course, without the sun, there would be no ripening of the crop.  
This grid is ideal for reviewing the plans you made earlier in the year, and for considering the abundance that has manifested from those seeds you sowed. What has been fulfilling for you? what makes you feel nourished. What are you grateful for? What are you going to  nurture over the coming months?
The crystals within the grid are gently grounding, and stabilising, empowering and nourishing. Their gentle protective energies offer support to the physical body, whilst nurturing creativity, vitality, and confidence.
The centre stone of the grid is a golden honey agate. This has warm and gentle nurturing energies.
Surrounding the central focus stone are four carnelian at the cardinal points, forming a square. Carnelian represents life force and vitality, courage and creativity. It helps one to take action with confidence,
At the outer edge of the carnelian sits red hematite included quartz. This helps to root and ground the flow of energy, bringing the spiritual into the physical. It aids manifesting, and also boosts life force and vitality. The quartz directs and amplifies those energies. 
Four frosted alluvial smokey quartz sit between these stones, supporting the grounding energies, and offering protective energies by transmuting stagnant and unwanted energies into clear free flowing energy. Smokey quartz helps bring practicality into play, enabling one to manifest and achieve one’s goals. 
This grid can be created in time for Lammas on 1st August and left up as the wheel of the year turns slowly towards the autumn equinox. 
Personal Intention can be set, and the grid can also be used as a portal for meditation and/or channeling information.
